Refund Policy

This Refund Policy ("Policy") governs refunds, reversals, and cancellations for payments made on or through the Duelz Labs platform ("Platform"). By using the Platform and making any payment, you agree to be bound by this Policy.
1. Scope of This Policy
This Policy applies to all payments made on Duelz Labs, including but not limited to:
- Platform fees paid by tournament organizers
- User subscription fees paid as platform access charges
- Payments made by community managers for use of platform tools
- Payments made by players or participants to join community games, pickup matches, or similar activities hosted via the Platform
- Match, event, or tournament-related payments processed via the Platform
- Any other paid digital service or feature offered by Duelz Labs
2. Role of Duelz Labs
Duelz Labs operates as a technology, analytics, and infrastructure platform that enables:
- Tournament and match management
- Player, team, and performance analytics
- Digital scoring, statistics, and leaderboards
- Community and club management tools
Note: Unless explicitly stated otherwise, Duelz Labs does not organize, host, conduct, or control any match, tournament, or event listed on the Platform. Duelz Labs provides only the digital infrastructure and related services.
3. Platform Fees Paid by Organizers
3.1 Nature of Payments
Organizers may pay Duelz Labs a platform fee for services including but not limited to:
- Tournament setup and digital management
- Live and post-match analytics
- Scoring systems, dashboards, and leaderboards
- Technical infrastructure and support services
3.2 Refund Policy
- All platform fees paid by organizers are non-refundable once access to services is granted or the platform is activated
- No refunds shall be issued if:
- The organizer cancels or postpones the event
- The organizer fails to fully utilize the Platform
- The event receives low participation or faces operational issues
3.3 Limited Exceptions
A refund may be considered only if:
- Duelz Labs fails to provide the agreed services due to a technical failure solely attributable to Duelz Labs, and
- The issue is reported within 48 hours of the disruption
Any approved refund shall be pro-rated and issued solely at the discretion of Duelz Labs.
4. User Subscription Fees
4.1 Nature of Payments
Users may subscribe to paid plans for access to:
- Advanced player and team analytics
- Historical performance data
- Premium dashboards and insights
- Additional or exclusive Platform features
4.2 Refund Policy
- All subscription fees are non-refundable, regardless of subscription duration
- No refunds shall be issued for:
- Partial usage of a subscription period
- Non-usage or inactivity
- Cancellation after subscription activation
4.3 Renewals
- Users are responsible for managing their subscriptions and renewals
- Failure to cancel prior to renewal does not entitle the user to any refund
5. Payments by Community Managers
5.1 Nature of Payments
Community managers may make payments for:
- Community creation and administration tools
- Match scheduling and player tracking features
- Analytics, rankings, and leaderboard access
5.2 Refund Policy
- All payments made by community managers are non-refundable once access to the Platform is enabled
- No refunds shall be granted due to:
- Community inactivity or discontinuation
- Internal disputes among members
- Failure to collect participation fees from players
6. Payments Collected from Players or Participants
6.1 Payment Facilitation Role
Where Duelz Labs processes payments on behalf of organizers:
- Duelz Labs acts solely as a payment facilitator
- The organizer remains responsible for event execution and refund decisions
6.2 Refund Responsibility
- Any refund to players or participants is subject to the organizer's refund policy
- Duelz Labs shall not be liable for disputes between organizers and participants regarding refunds or cancellations
7. Event Cancellations
7.1 Cancellation by Duelz Labs
If a service or event is cancelled directly by Duelz Labs:
- A full or partial refund may be issued based on the nature of the service
- Refunds, if approved, will be credited to the original payment method
7.2 Cancellation by Organizer
If an organizer cancels an event:
- Refund eligibility shall be governed solely by the organizer's policies
- Duelz Labs shall not be responsible for such cancellations
8. Rescheduled or Postponed Events
- Payments shall remain valid for rescheduled or postponed events
- No refunds shall be issued solely due to rescheduling unless approved by the organizer
9. Failed, Duplicate, or Erroneous Transactions
9.1 Duplicate Charges
If a user or organizer is charged more than once for the same transaction:
- The excess amount shall be refunded after verification
9.2 Failed Transactions
If a payment is debited but not successfully completed:
- The amount will be reversed in accordance with bank or payment gateway timelines
Important: All such issues must be reported within 7 days of the transaction date.
10. Refund Processing Time
- Approved refunds: 7–10 working days
- Bank/gateway delays: Additional time may apply
Duelz Labs is not responsible for delays caused by banks, UPI providers, or payment gateways.
11. Abuse and Misuse
Duelz Labs reserves the right to:
- Deny refunds in cases of fraud, misuse, or policy abuse
- Suspend or terminate accounts involved in repeated or malicious refund claims
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
13. Policy Modifications
Duelz Labs reserves the right to amend this Policy at any time. Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
